Hi, I'm Amy!

People fascinate me. I’m curious about their stories, their life experiences, their resiliency.

I find I write for people who often feel unseen or unheard. Few things are better than dropping into a story to give voice to a character, and I’m often surprised by what the character reveals. In the past that’s been women of a certain age (ahem) who are often made to feel invisible or a man grappling with grief, afraid for the world to see his pain. When I share a story of an outsider finding her place in the world, I’ll barely come up for air.
